Legal Document Preparation and Notary Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. We provide document preparation, typing, and notary services at your direction. See our Nonlawyer Disclosure for full details.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information for your documents
- Review all prepared documents carefully before use or filing
- Make all legal decisions and select any legal strategy yourself
- Meet all applicable court deadlines and filing requirements
Fees and payment
Fees for our services are described in your written service agreement. Court filing fees, service-of-process fees, e-filing fees, copying, postage, travel, and other third-party costs are separate unless specifically included in writing.
No guarantee of outcome
We cannot and do not guarantee that any document will be accepted by a court or clerk, that any filing will succeed, or that you will achieve any particular result. Courts and clerks control all filing and ruling decisions.
Refunds
Refunds, if any, are governed by your written service agreement. Fees for completed work, consultations, document preparation, printing, travel, filing, and third-party charges may be nonrefundable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
